A bookkeeper who works in your Twinfield
Your books stay in Twinfield, where your accountant works too. We book your bank transactions and expenses in it, and only ask you for what is missing. A bookkeeper checks the month before we close it.
What we do in Twinfield
- Fetch the bank transactions from your bank journal (bankdagboek)
- Book every expense as a final entry in your purchase journal (inkoopdagboek), against the creditor, with the GL account and VAT code on every line
- Create a creditor if it doesn’t exist yet
- Fill in cost centres (kostenplaatsen) on the cost lines
- Match incoming payments to your outstanding sales invoices (afletteren), also when a customer pays part of an invoice
We use your own journals. By default these are BNK, INK and VRK, with creditors on 1600. If you use other codes, we set them up when we connect.
Where the receipts are kept
Twinfield’s connection can’t attach files to a booking. So we keep the receipt on our side, with the booking it belongs to. The description of the booking says what it is.
How to give us access
- You sign up at openzero.nl/signup and choose Twinfield as your package.
- You click Connect and log in with your Twinfield account.
- You give OpenZero access and choose the administration (the office).
- You choose which bank journal we keep up to date.
If your accountant works in Twinfield and you don’t have a login yourself, ask your accountant to set up the connection. You can skip this step when you sign up.

- That’s best to ask them yourself. The bookings are in the same administration and the same journals as now. Your accountant can also email us directly.
