What we do in SnelStart

• Fetch the bank entries from your SnelStart, per bank journal (bankdagboek)
• Book every expense as a purchase entry (inkoopboeking) against the supplier, with the GL account and VAT rate from your own administration
• Create a supplier if it isn’t in your contacts (relaties) yet
• Attach the receipt or invoice to the purchase entry as a document
• Fill in cost centres (kostenplaatsen) if you use them

Every booking gets a fixed invoice number from us. That way SnelStart itself refuses a booking that already exists, and nothing ends up in your books twice.

How to give us access

1. You sign up at openzero.nl/signup and choose SnelStart as your package.
2. In SnelStart Web you create a connection key (koppelingssleutel) for OpenZero.
3. When you sign up, you paste that key into the Koppelingssleutel field.
4. You see your bank journals and choose which ones we keep up to date.

A connection key gives access to exactly one administration. If you have more than one, you create a key for each. We store the key encrypted and only use it to read and book in your SnelStart. You can revoke it in SnelStart whenever you like.

What you need in SnelStart

Your bank statements must come into SnelStart, through your bank connection or by importing them. Whatever is in SnelStart, we can book.

What stays the same

• Your books stay in your own SnelStart
• Your accountant keeps the same access and sees the document with every booking
• If you leave OpenZero, you revoke the key and everything is already where it belongs

Frequently asked questions

My accountant does my SnelStart now. Can we work side by side?

Yes. We do the bank transactions and receipts during the year. Your accountant keeps doing the annual accounts and your business tax returns.
